Physical Description		Liha has a light skin with a slim build with a little muscle definition around his core and thighs. He does a lot of low intensity work outs, typically stretching or treadmill walking. He has a youthful face with soft features and a radiant smile. He has a long scar along his right side (over where a Vulcanoid heart would be). Externally he looks fully Romulan with pointed ears, slanted eyebrows, and forehead ridges, but his midnight black eyes give away his Betazoid heritage. Internally he has green copper-based blood, although his insides are arranged to match Betazoid physiology, with his heart matching where the human heart would be. As for the organs themselves, they most closely resemble Romulan physiology in size and shape. This mix of two biologies is ironically what has saved his life on numerous occasions.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Intuitive and a social butterfly, Liha loves meeting people and doesn't waste any time to be acquainted with those around him. Although he was introverted and shy as a child, he has grown into his role as eri'hfirh of the Merrus House. He tends to use humor to cope with stressful situations, being the first to crack a joke or make a snarky comment when faced with danger. He is a natural empath and is always mindful of how his words affect others, especially his friends or close colleagues. Liha may not seem focused on the outside, but under his smiles and quirkiness, he is very serious about serving his people and fulfilling his role to the Empire and the Merrus house. Although he had hid his hybrid heritage in the past, he fully embraces it now and even uses it to his advantage when trying to get close to people. He's a master of persuasion and he's great at getting people to open up to him and gaining their trust.

Personal History		Early Life Born on the Valdore-class IRW Rel'enak, Liha was formed by the unlikely union of Betazoid and Romulan parents. His father was a Betazoid Starfleet officer who was surveying 'The Bloom', the area within Romulan space where Shinzon's Thaloron weapon detonated. The ship had hit one of the man anomalies and had to take a detour right into Romulan space. The ship was captured by the IRW Rel'enak and the crew taken into custody by the Romulans. Liha's parents fell in love at first sight and although their union had to remain a secret, they held the utmost trust for each other. Understanding the situation that led to the incursion into the Neutral Zone, the Rel'enak made plans to return the surviving Starfleet officers back to their people. Liha's mother decided to return back to Romulus and focus on raising her son. Liha stayed with the rest of the Merrus house, being able to pass as fully Romulan for the most part. His mother and a few other trusted family members were the only ones who knew of his true hybrid nature. He attended school and didn't have any issues getting along with the other children, his black eyes were easy to explain as just genetics. It wasn't until he reached his teenage years when his own telepathy and empathy began to develop that he started to struggle. His mother did not know very much about Betazoid telepathy, but she taught Liha what she knew. Liha's mother began to get concerned when he began to withdraw from those around him. He spent more time alone, studying or doing some creative arts. His mother ended up marrying when he was in high school. She married a man of political interest in the Merrus house and that man became Liha's step father. He was a cold person who had a very traditional way of thinking. He didn't believe in giving up or the phrase "I can't" and would constantly try to pressure Liha into things he didn't want to do such as various extracurriculars or socialising with others. As this was a political union, Liha's mother feared trying to argue with him as it could upset the union of the two houses. Liha felt suffocated in his own house and he was eager to enlist in the Navy, which is why he worked as hard as he could to achieve top marks. Romulan War College Liha enlisted in the Romulan War College at the ripe young age of 18 and was thrilled to escape his house. He did absolutely terrible his first year, nearly failing every class. Liha grew frustrated as he had top marks when he was in high school, but maybe that was just because he so desperately wanted to get away from his family. It was only the first year and he already felt burnt out, but that's when he was approached by an officer who saw his true potential and gave him an offer. No more exams he didn't care about and more importantly, specialised training in only what he was good at. Liha took the offer without a question and thus embarked on his career with the Tal Shiar. He learned how to use his empathy to his advantage and to control his emotions under pressure. The best part about this 'new career path' was that he could use his Betazoid side to his advantage.

I also read that you need 30 years to be a Tal Shiar agent, that's why I gave Liha the postings I did because I wasn't sure if he would be allowed to serve on a ship either as a spy or Tal Shiar operative. I wasn't sure what the training actually has him do. Please let me know if I need to change anything, I will admit i was a little lost with the canon! Also I would like to make him younger, so let me know if that would be possible, but if he is a Tal Shiar officer and needs that 30 years then I can just keep him at 49.
